Katya0133: The tone of these two books is very different, but they way Katniss looked at the world, specifically the way she couldn't understand kindness as a motivation, reminded me of Vin in the first Mistborn book.
Bona construcció d’univers, bona construcció de personatges (en general). El llibre es llegeix bé i ràpid, hi passen coses interessants i rebem la informació en la justa mesura. És coherent com a obra independent, però té l’encert de no explicar la informació i deixar coses obertes (potser s’explicaran en llibres posteriors) i a la interpretació del lector.
Llenguatge d’acord amb la història, senzill i directe. Afortunadament no és una història de sentiments perquè probablement no podria estar a l’alçada.
Tanmateix, quan s’acaba el llibre no tens molt clar a què s’han dedicat les 700 pàgines. Massa escenes de lluita alomàntica i massa poca estratègia política i militar. Tota aquesta se suposa que passa entre bambolines però es dóna bastant per suposada. La construcció de la relació romàntica entre Vin i Elend passa una mica de cop i volta, sense més explicació, com si toqués que estiguessin junts per a donar més profunditat a la història i al personatge de Vin. De la mateixa manera, la caiguda de l’imperi final que s’orquestra al llarg de cinc-centes pàgines sense cap mena de resultats, acaba succeint inesperadament en les últimes cinquanta i per una bona combinació de sort. És un final lícit, però que fa poca justícia a tots els preparatius. ( )
Un gran llibre de fantasia de qualitat. Molt ben estructurat i amb un treball proffund sobre l'alomància, la màgia basada en els metalls. També és interessant les reflexions que fa al voltant de la religió, la fe i d'altres temes relacionats. ( )
