S'està carregant… Flotsam (2006)de David Wiesner
![]() No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. This book is about a boy who finds an underwater camera filled with dream-like images. The camera also contains images of every other child who has found the camera washed up on the beach. The book reminds me of a treasure hunt/Indiana Jones movie. The pictures found on the cameras are full of wonder and adventure. At the end of the book the boy throws the camera back in the ocean for the next child to find. This book encourages readers to share their adventures and experiences with others. I think this book would be best for third through fifth graders as a tool for teaching symbolism and context. ( ![]() A fun fanciful "tale" with lovely illustrations. prestato a Samantha Vitale il 16/11/2021 rientrato si prestato ad Emma Balboni il 7 dicembre 2021 Flotsam balances perfectly between reality and possibility, taking an every-day occurrence and turning it to a imaginative adventure. Wiesner's illustrations are energetic and cinematic, and add exciting drama to the simple discovery of a camera. Best of all, no text gets in the way of the beautiful illustrations that tell their own story and invite participation from young readers. C’s favorite part is the magical underwater photos which capture things like starfish islands, mechanical fish, and octopus read-aloud time. A Fantastical book that has so much to see in each illustration. Through images, Wiesner is able to tell the story of a boy on beach who finds not a message in a bottle but a camera. Caught on film are underwater worlds with unexpected elements. It feels like this could be real because Wiesner's art s so fine but also because of the wide range of familiar sea life present. There's a twist at the end! Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
