Working from a series of illustrations, usually 3-6, the reader is challenged to come up with the name of the film. Its a really fun time-passer with family and kids when you are in an airport as long as the players are old enough and familiar-enough with a wide range of classics and contemporary films. Super super clever and sophisticated execution. ( ) This is a puzzle book that I found while browsing the stacks at my local library. It had been a year since I had gotten to indulge in this innocent pleasure, and the unusual size of this book grabbed onto my hand and would not let go. (It's 4.25 inches by 9.25 inches.) The author took 100 of his favorite movies and created six small line drawings for each film, three on each facing page. There are no movie stars in any of the pictures, unless there is a name on a movie marquee or poster as one of the drawings. I opened the book to a puzzle almost in the middle of the book and identified it immediately. The movie dates range from 1935 to 2009, and I was able to figure out approximately half of them without looking at either of the two indices in the back. If you are familiar with a film, you will guess it immediately. If not, you won't. This book was published in 2012, and I think it is time for Volume II. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
