Unlike many theologians, John Howard Yoder developed a theology of culture that reflected the biblical connection between Christ and creation. In properly tracing the biblical unity of creation and redemption, Yoder affirmed the trinitarian unity of Father, Son, and Spirit. Like Yoder's own argument in his landmark The Politics of Jesus, this book shows that his theology of culture is not merely an Anabaptist minority report, but an account of culture that Christians of all stripes need to take seriously. The author joins many others who continue to study the theology of one of the twentieth century's leading theologians. Yoder (1927-1997) taught at the University of Notre Dame and at Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |
