An overview of some of the oddities of the plant world for younger readers, this photo-illustrated science book prompts the reader to interact with the knowledge they gain in reading it. The primary text on each page is low-level and mostly devoid of hard facts, concentrated more on describing what makes the plant featured strange and unique. The text in round insets provides more concrete information, and maps show where each vegetational curiosity calls home. The book also makes use of insets with bold, orange text, which ask the reader to consider various questions, such as "how would you describe the titan arum to someone?" The idea of such insets is solid, but the particular font and color choices make it difficult to read. Despite this and other small design flaws, and its paucity of information, the book makes for a quick read that encourages further exploration. ( ) Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
