S'està carregant… Crown of Midnight (2013)de Sarah J. Maas
![]() No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. Pure magic. Growth all around. Absolute best kind of follow-up. ( ![]() I completely forgot about how much Dorian's character arc is developed in this book. Rereads always allow you to find more little hidden gems. A guilty pleasure. I probably shouldn't be enjoying this young adult high fantasy series as much as I am....but I'm just hooked. “I worry because I care. Gods help me, I know I shouldn't, but I do. So I will always tell you to be careful, because I will always care what happens.” I'm writing this review even though I'm already on book 6, but I really think this book was one of my favorite ones that I've read so far from this series. I'm pretty sure the relationships in this made me feel more anxious and agitated than any of the fight scenes. As a friend told me, Sarah J. Maas is a master at relationships but I think she is just plain evil (in the best way possible). I just felt so conflicted between Dorian (I think it's because I have a soft spot for the name Dorian because of the Dark Swan series by Richelle Mead--Obviously I was Team Dorian) and Chaol even though I ultimately knew that Chaol was better for her at that time, but of cooouuuuurse, Sarah had to rip that away too. I was very angry at the time and still a little bitter as you can tell. The one thing I know now is that Sarah has a reason for everything. I get it now (still bitter). Personally, I feel that a lot of YA Fantasy intended books can lack serious conflict and emotions because everything has a happy ending (I know, this is very broad, please don't come for me). This created a love/hate relationship for me with this series because not everything ends perfectly when I want it to BUT it makes it unpredictable and keeps me on my toes. Some series, I will lose interest after 2 or 3 books because it can get too predictable so it's great that you won't find that in this series. My favorite books have been those that I want to throw at a wall because I'm so frustrated lol. “When you do, I want you to remember that it wouldn’t have made any difference to me. It’s never made any difference to me when it came to you. I’d still pick you. I’ll always pick you.” Rating: 98% (4.9 stars) Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
