One of the best books I read in my teens, and one of the only ones I still have on my shelf. This follows three teenagers, brought together by the curious wooden egg puzzle of the book's title. Two of them start having odd supernatural visions of the future, and they help to solve a crime despite the initial scepticism of the police. Not just about solving a mystery, this is about real relationships, and real problems which are just as relevant today as they were when the book was written. A really good read. Vicky and Stephen find they have an inexplicable ability to see momentary flashes of the near future, most of which foretell all too clearly the developments of a very unpleasant plot. In the face of daunting scepticism, they persist in using their extra-sensory insight to track down the villains. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |
