S'està carregant… The Day the Crayons Quit (2013)de Drew Daywalt
![]() No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. This book is about a young boy named Duncan who is assigned a coloring assignment, but he realizes all his crayons quit. Each crayon has a different reason for why they quit, and Duncan needs to figure out a way to make them all happy. I think this book for be fun for a lesson that relates to art and it would be a great book to read in elementary. ( ![]() The crayons are fighting back in this funny back-to-school story about a child named Duncan who wants to color but discovers a small problem upon opening the box. The crayons are fed up with being taken advantage of, and each of the colors has its own reasoning behind it. This is a great book for a read aloud for a few different reasons. There are multiple characters displayed through the letters from the crayons, which allows for the teacher reading to be very creative with their presentation. There are also a couple of themes displayed in this book, including respect, inequality/rebellion, obligation vs. self-interest, and many others; a teacher would have many opportunities to present these themes to their students and discussion points. A little long for a naptime read but the premise Is funny, and my son immediately began thinking about how other colors might feel. That alone is worth the price of admission. For sight-impaired readers, this book can be a challenge. I don't know how well the e-book takes care of this problem, but it is worth downloading a sample to double-check. I don't even know what this is about but it looks so cute Fun, funny, clever. (Note: 5 stars = amazing, wonderful, 4 = very good book, 3 = decent read, 2 = disappointing, 1 = awful, just awful. I'm fairly good at picking for myself so end up with a lot of 4s). I feel a lot of readers automatically render any book they enjoy 5, but I grade on a curve!
