![]() READ IN 2020 (170) No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. some of the stories should be added to the books of the infernal devices or mortal instruments series. Some stories should be added together to make one book that flows smoother. The stories are cute. Next time I will read Vampires, Scones and Edmund Herondale before reading Clockwork Angel, The Midnight Heir after the Infernal Devices series, The Last STand of the New York Institute before the Mortal Instrument series The Rise ofthe Hotel Dumort, Saving Raphael Santiago, and the The Fall of The Hotel Dumort should be read between books in The Mortal Instruments series along with What to Buy the Shadowhunter Who has Everything and the Course of True Love while the Voicemail of Magnus Bane should be read after the City of Lost Souls. What really happened in Peru and the Runaway Queen are cute short stories that do not fit into either series Magnus Supremacy!! I really enjoyed these little snippets and some of them were really funny. What really happened in Peru? - 4 stars- I loved this, some of the bits were funny and I love Ragnor and Catarina. The Runaway Queen - 3 stars Vampires, Scones and Edmund Herondale - 3 stars- Sets up TID The Midnight Heir - 3 stars The Rise of the Hotel Dumort - 3 stars Saving Raphael Santiago - 5 stars (It's Raphael for gods sake) The Fall of the Hotel Dumort - 3 stars What to Buy the Shadowhunter Who Has Everything - 3 stars The Last Stand of the New York Institute - 4 stars The Course of True Love [and First Dates] - 4 stars The Voicemail of Magnus Bane - 4 stars- I loved this one lol Okay okay okay I'm so very pleased. The whole thing was very enjoyable and portrayed Magnus in a very positive light, as very human, very vulnerable, and very fabulous, and very ideal. It's actually a 4.5 stars for me, the half star taken away because one of the stories I wanted to read most (What Really Happened in Peru) was very underwhelming and we never actually found out what really happened in Peru, though it was lovely to meet Imasu and it held some marvelous, quotable bits. It was fantastic, though, to see Alec, and Magnus with Alec, and Alec with Magnus, my little sweet beans, my sons, my children. I'm even sad that I probably ran out of Malec scenes, though I'm probably missing something in the new series (speaking of, that little brief mention of Mark Blackthorne? Please and thank you). Over all, super enjoyable, even though I'm usually not one for short stories compilations, as it takes me quite a bit to get into each individual story, but that's a me issue. The humor I missed so much in the last Shadowhunter books was very much there, and also the pain and heartache and fluff and butterflies and I am into it. More, please? 2.5-2.75 I think it's a business book. I enjoyed only the novellas with Alex and on the whole, only three or four. Besides a few cute flashes, this doesn't add anything more to the whole story.
