[General Preface] The Bible Speaks Today describes three series of expositions, based on the books of the Old and New Testaments, and on Bible themes that run through the whole of Scripture.

[Author's Preface] I have loved the book of Malachi for many years, and have taught and preached it many times.

[Introduction] The book of Malachi sits aptly in our Bibles as the last book of the Old Testament, for it looks back to the Old Testament and assumes, summarizes an applies its message.

This brief introduction to the book in its first verse tells us four important facts: the book comes from the LORD; it is an oracle in the form of the word; it is addressed Israel; and it comes Malachi.
