Land of Eight Million Dreams is the east Asian supplement to the "Changeling: the Dreaming" game. As such I found it quite interesting. But had reservations for three reasons:

1) Most other books seem to take the view that the European-style fae are the norm and that fae from other regions are similar with only slight variations. Land of Eight Million Dreams does not share this view and portrays eastern "Fae" in such a way that they almost have nothing to do with Changelings of the west.

This is not a terrible thing necessarily but means that the eastern fae might actually fit better in chronicles from other World of Darkness game lines than they would fit in a typical Changeling chronicle.

2) There's alot there to digest. Land of Eight Million Dreams may in fact be the thickest supplement to Changeling: the Dreaming. There's so much that it could almost be a fully developed game in and of it's self.

3) Magic is a bit incomprehensible. Instead of the typical "cantrips" of Changeling, Land of Eight Million Dreams instead uses an "elemental alchemy" system. In theory this system is more flexible and could provide an improvement over traditional cantrips. In practice however it's tough to remember which areas of influence each sort of element covers and how they are combined with other elements of the system.
