A collection of literary criticisms about Ellis Peters (Edith Pargeter) Brother Cadfael novels. You would not think literary criticisms would be interesting, but in this, you'd be mistaken. The Cadfael novels themselves were engaging works of fiction, time period appropriate and delightful to read. If you are interested in how history intersects with fiction, this is a good book to read. (
