Genre Cumulative tales Picture books for children Subject Courage Frights Jack-o'-lanterns Scarecrows Senior women Once upon a time, there was a little old lady who was not afraid of anything! But one autumn night, while walking in the woods, the little old lady heard . . . clomp, clomp, shake, shake, clap, clap. Funny book with an old woman who encounters plenty of haunted things that following her home. Fun thing with onomatopoeias and may use for students so this will be added to the classroom. I Love this book! This fun fall book follows a little old lady who decides to take a walk in the woods. As it gets darker she begins to hear funny things behind her such as two shoes going clomp clomp, or a pair of pants going wiggle wiggle. Each time though, she turns around and tells the object that she is not scared of them! In the end the objects don't know what to do with themselves if they can't scare the little old lady, so she comes up with a solution! She turns the objects into a scarecrow! I think this is a great read aloud because it is interactive, repetitive, and teaches the kids to be brave! Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
