Fun thing with onomatopoeias and may use for students so this will be added to the classroom. I Love this book! This fun fall book follows a little old lady who decides to take a walk in the woods. As it gets darker she begins to hear funny things behind her such as two shoes going clomp clomp, or a pair of pants going wiggle wiggle. Each time though, she turns around and tells the object that she is not scared of them! In the end the objects don't know what to do with themselves if they can't scare the little old lady, so she comes up with a solution! She turns the objects into a scarecrow! I think this is a great read aloud because it is interactive, repetitive, and teaches the kids to be brave! I thought this book was so cute and funny. It's a really good halloween book that could be used to teach students about onomatopoeias. 00000010 When the little old lady who isn't afraid of everything goes for a walk, she is harrassed by floating pairs of clothes. She tells them too move, and goes on with her walk. The only thing that spooks her a bit is a floating pumpkin head. She runs home, to find all the clothes and pumpkin head had come to her house to scare her! Instead of being afraid, she offers them a job as a scarecrow. Young children always love the noises the shoes make and this makes a great Halloween book. This would be a great book for beginning readers. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
