I've never really read romance but after reading Verity and loving how Colleen Hoover writes I felt I wanted to read more of her books and omg it's so sweet my heart feels so full! ( )

I am a fan of Colleen Hoover and this was a good book. It wasn't a book I couldn't put down...thus no 5 stars. The conflict lasted just a bit too long for me. I was getting a bit bored and beginning to skim somewhat. It would have been 5 stars if the conflict had been resolved sooner and us readers could have spent a bit of time with the happy couple. I even think an epilogue would have been perfect for this! I loved the plot and felt their feelings were real. There were many LOL moments which I enjoyed. ( )

Nothing like the other colleen Hoover book I read: Verity. This one was a very sweet romance that had me not able to put it down! ( )

Couldn't ever get the interactive part to work, but it's a good read anyway. Narrators did good job.

Un’intesa storia d’amore, coinvolgente e con personaggi che catturano per la forza dei sentimenti. Ridge è uno di quei protagonisti che difficilmente si possono dimenticare, che trae la sua forza e la sua peculiarità da quella che viene comunemente chiamata disabilità e che in lui si trasforma in qualcosa di unico e talmente potente da renderlo eccezionale. Anche Sidney è un bel personaggio, pure se nella parte finale diventa troppo melensa per i miei gusti.
Sarebbero 5 stelle strameritate ma ne segnerò solo 4 perché c’è qualcosa che in questo libro mi ha alquanto irritato.
La storia è accompagnato da una serie di canzoni i cui testi fanno parte integrante della narrazione, cosa che viene anche specificata dagli stessi personaggi dei libri. Questi testi vengono tutti riportati esclusivamente in lingua inglese e manca del tutto la traduzione. Questa è una cosa per me inaccettabile, perché un lettore non è obbligatoriamente tenuto a conoscere tutte le lingue e se compro un libro in lingua italiana pretendo di leggerlo in lingua italiana, ancora di più quando il testo riportato in inglese è parte sostanziale della narrazione.
Una stella in meno, perciò, per questa che considero una grave pecca del libro.
