I enjoyed this book. The ending is like a sucker punch to the gut...you don't see it coming and it leaves you breathless! ( )

Great, a book I didn't much enjoy ends on a huge cliffhanger... Just not my cup of tea and now I have to find the freaking sequel. I hate cliffhangers ( )

Words escaped me by the end of this book… I didn’t know what was up. I didn’t know what was down. All I knew was that, as I sat there thinking WTF, I needed to read the rest of this series and PRONTO!
This is the first book i the Hard Rock Roots series. It is also the very first book of C.M. Stunich’s that I have read. I have every book in this series and a few other books of hers; I just hadn’t picked them up yet. Why? I keep asking myself why I hadn’t read any of them yet!
This book had me on the edge of my seat. Love. Hate. Confusion. Suspense. Murder. Drugs. My mind was going in circles. How can there be so much in one book? And I loved every single word of it!
I will admit, I did struggle a little bit for a short time. I was having a hard time with the drug usage. But that didn’t last long. It’s part of the story. Without it, the story would be lacking.
So now I sit here. I need to find the words to convince why you should read this book. But how do I do that? I can’t go into the book without giving you a play-by-play of the whole book. If I did that, then you wouldn’t need to read the book. So, all I can say is that this is one damned great book…. So just read it! ( )

If you don't like books that detail drug use.... don't read!
If you don't like books with an angry/violent edge.... don't read!
If you don't like books with sex scenes.... don't read!

Fortunately for moi none of the above offend me and so I've read and enjoyed and now moved on to the next book in the series. I think the best word to describe Real Ugly is angry! Naomi is one angry girl that's been let down by people who shouldn't! Turner is a a rockstar who's used to his own way! The collide and we're seeing stars!!!!

Holy Shit! A Cliffhanger from hell!!!

I loved this book! Yes, I still pretty much hate Turner, but dammit... the fact that I feel anything for the asshat speaks volumes! This book was raw and gritty and ugly, but fun and a hell of a ride. Very much made me feel the way I was feeling as I read Sins & Needles. Stunich is a new favorite author already! ( )
