Best in the series so far. Rather clearcut with some big huge game changers for the characters (versus some murky running around trying to figure out things that did drag a bit in previous books).

Series had been decent so far but not really hooked. This one hooked me. ( )

Milly really is evil. Maybe even more than Faris realizes....... ( )

I have to disagree with a few of the reviews. Rylee was smart ass Rylee like in the prior books. Got to love the tough girls with good ethics! Good enticing read with strong plot development and twists that keep the reader enthralled. ( )

Another great Rylee Adamson read. The urban fantasy continues although Rylee and O'Shea have parted. She is working for the FBI in London on a missing children case with 20 children involved.

I am so completely hooked on this series. A sassy, maybe sometimes snarky heroine, a great mystery and things that go bump in the night. ( )

If this was the first book in the series, I’m not sure that I would have read any of the others. I liked Rylee, Alex, O’Shea and Eve prior to this book and I think that makes a great deal of difference on how I view this one because I’ve seen what Rylee is capable of and what she’ll do to protect those that are close to her and the lengths she’ll go to when attempting to save a child. Without that, well, Rylee can come off as a total—you know the word—when folks first meet her.

Lots of changes on the home front have Rylee’s emotions running wild. When Agent Valley of the Arcane Division of the FBI asks her to go to London to track down kids with fatal illnesses that were kidnapped, and knowing they are already dead, only the chance to speak with another Tracker and hopefully learn from him will get her on the plane.

What I like about Rylee is that she works hard to push her physical limits, training by herself, knowing she doesn’t have anything but her physical abilities when fighting other supernaturals that have either magical abilities or strength that she can’t match. She is definitely vulnerable but isn’t about to let anyone see it. And she takes in outcasts who become her family. A young werewolf stuck in his form with the mind of a 2-year old, a young harpy who was all alone after Rylee killed her sisters, and O’Shea, an FBI agent who was accidentally scratched and became a werewolf in the last book.

What I like about the series are the secondary characters and different supernaturals and situations Rylee finds herself in. There is an ongoing back story from the first book and a newer one that will continue into at least the next book. Action, humor, frustration, hope and heartache are all found in this book. ( )
