[Word to the Reader] I'd like Christian parents to come away eager to intentionally read the stories to their children, in hope that another generation will be shaped, molded and mured into men and women of God, the kind that resemble the Lion of Narnia, and therefore, bear the image of the true king, Jesus Christ.

[Introduction] Indeed, as Aslan says to Lucy on one occasion, "This is the very reason you were brought into Narnia, that by knowing me here or a little, you might know me better there."

Such a lady is a vibrant and potent force for good in the world, showing by her glad-hearted tenderness and lion-strength that she too has buried her face in Aslan's mane and become a lioness.
