Crime scene cleaner Gaby St. Clair is living her dream – she is working for the Medical Examiner’s Office as an investigator. That is until the budget cuts when she is let go. She needs to tell her fiancé Riley but keeps putting it off as they are going on a week’s Legal Convention at a posh resort where she will meet his college friends. She is intimated by his rich friends and would have like to be introduced as Medical Office Investigator and not Crime Scene Cleaner, so she keeps putting it off.

All Riley asks of Gaby once they arrive at the rest, is she doesn’t do any snooping for the week! Immediately on their arrival at the resort things start to go wrong – one of Riley’s friends is missing and there is a ransom demand. Of course, Gaby can’t stop herself from asking questions (that’s not snooping?).
