Inside Moscow's Olympic Stadium––site of the US boycotted 1980 summer games––the showcase for an atheistic nation became a showcase of for God's power and grace in mid–1993. Thousands jammed the stadium to hear evangelist Mark Finley proclaim the gospel. But the meetings proceeded only in the face of intense opposition. Repeatedly, sessions were interrupted by the shouts of demonstrating cultists – – one of whom charged evangelist Finley on stage. Signs around the city advertising the meetings were torched. Incredibly, broken glass was placed on the bottom of the baptismal pool. But no one could know is that something far more ominous was about to happen––the sudden the threat of a new law that would outlaw all foreign evangelistic activity. But none of these obstacles found God short of miracles. The meetings ended in triumph as thousands committed their lives to Jesus Christ. Russia's present political situation may be turbulent and uncertain. But both its present and its future belong to God. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
