This is a great book when trying to teach students various types of poems. It allows for children to see that you can write poems about anything and you can write them whenever. This book would be a great tool for introducing to beginning readers and for fluent readers it would be more of an application tool. At the end of the book it provides definitions for the various types of poems throughout the picture book as well. ( )
