This book holds a lot of information in it, and could feel a little overwhelming if it were to be read all at once. I think it would be a good resource for an elementary classroom if they are doing a unit on different animals and their makeup/build or learning about the 5 senses. Since there is no story line to the book, it would be easy for the students to flip to whatever animal they are looking for and record the information they need or a teacher to choose a few to read aloud to the whole class. .
