St. Bart's 2015 #6 - Sappy but charming tale of a 5-child family suddenly left parent-less on the Maine coast and the struggles of the 2 oldest to keep the family intact. This was supposed to be the chosen island vacation book that was definitely island related, since most Elisabeth Ogilvie books are, but darned if this did not take place on the mainland of the Maine coast! There was a brief island scene, but not the normal focus. I still love the day-to-day details of these books and enjoyed the short ride. These are not Pulitzer Prize winning pieces, but I love their genuineness. I will be sad when I have read all of Ogilvie' s work. ( )
