Based loosely on actual events, The Night of the Goat Children is a tale of bravery and cleverness in the small town of Beda.

Beda is under siege, but the oh so clever Queen Birgitta the Brave has a cunning plan that involves goats and some of the more mischievous children of the town.

What I like about this story is how much it depends on the art of storytelling, which is why I love reading and writing so much. Birgitta spins a web for the invading forces which is what makes her daring plan such a success.
