![]() Cap No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. Judy Moody took Backwards Day to a WHOLE OTHER level! I was actually said to see her trying SO HARD to be someone she's not...you know, much less moody. At the same time, her self initiated test of her determination and reserve helped her to grow, leaving us with a Moody more in control, but still the wild haired, crazy idea filled girl we know and love. **copy received for review Judy Moody has decided that she wants to stay in a good mood for a whole week. To study how to be in a good mood, she spends time with Jessica Finch, who always seems to be in a good mood. She tries everything Jessica does; she wears cupcake lipgloss, puts her hair in ponytails, cleans her room, and even does her homework on time. She acts so strangely that even her friends don't believe its really her, and decide she is an alien! Lots of things try to sour Judy's mood, but she is determined to stay in a good mood for the entire week. A great, silly chapter book for learning about emotions and how to cope with bad moods. It's hard to believe that there once was a world without Judy Moody, whose third grade year in Mr. Todd's class continues with this book. When Judy dresses up and combs her hair for Backwards Day, she is inspired to be in a good mood for an entire week. This means her freinds are calling her an alient and she needs something to work off all that pent-up energy. Like finger-knitting! Yards and yards and yards of finger knitting. Down the stairs, around the corner, wrap-around-the-cat finger knitting. Can Judy stay in a good mood for a whole week? Filled with the quick plotting and familiar characters of previous Judy Moody books, this is a welcome addition. Recommended. Reviewed from galley received from the publisher via NetGalley.com. Judy Moody is a great character -- she's normal and relatable, quirky enough to be interesting but not so much as to be weird, and generally a good kid, even if things don't always turn out as she plans.
In this latest book in the series, Judy attempts to maintain a good mood for a whole week, a challenge that would be difficult for most people and that proves to be especially difficult for Judy. Her methods for trying to stay in a good mood range from faking it to looking on the bright side to copying others' good-mood-inducing habits to keeping busy. Through it all, readers learn some valuable lessons about achieving and maintaining a good mood.
