It was so good to have a new book in this series. The writing, plot and characters were good. (

I've fallen in love with this series and the variety of characters Nicky Charles has created. This was a great resolution for Damien's broken and tragic past. Hearing about characters from previous books was an added plus.

I thoroughly enjoyed Sam and her 'spitfire' ways. She's a perfect fit for both the story and the werewolf! I don't think I could've liked her if she had been too much like Beth. Reno Smith is one of my all time favorite characters, but I'll always have a major soft spot for Damien.

Seeing Damien come full circle over three books was well worth the time and investment. As I have in the past, I couldn't put my reader down. I was too eager to see how things fell into place and resolved...which they did...very nicely...with both tears and smiles!

Bravo, Nicky! Sending happy vibes to keep your muse cooperative so we see more and more! (
