MH 370: By accident or design is an interesting read that leaves the reader with more questions than answers. Now that a part of the aircraft has actually been found, hopefully we will soon have an answer to at least where the wreckage is, even if we never know what brought the aircraft down in the first place.

Peter Lee has amassed a large amount of information pertaining to the flight and anyone interested in the mysteries of accident investigation will find this book an interesting read.

I was given a copy of this book for an honest review. Peter Lee has brought up every possible scenario that could have happened to flight MH370. This novel answers all the question except, the one most of the world would like answered. What actually happened to this flight and its passengers and crew? Check it out for yourself. It will get you thinking. ( )

I liked the book but it could have been better organized as there were too many mini chapters and redundancy (and the discussion at end about wreckage found after publication that turned out not to be missing aircraft should have been left out as it was irrelevant and added nothing to the story--now if wreckage from the missing aircraft had been found that would have been worthy of inclusion). Also, the font was too small (looked to be 8 or 9 rather than 12) and not standard (times new roman) used in book publishing. When I tapped my screen to make bigger then most of the words ran off the page. Think has fictionalized account should have been the story opener not placed at the end. ( )

A thoroughly enjoyable book worth reading. Everyone loves a mystery and even more so, everyone likes to know the answer that explains or solves the mystery. In my opinion, this book by Peter Lee does just that.
I like how the book gives a very brief summary of the author's background to establish his credentials with regards to this book.
After delving into the background of the author, the introduction then takes the reader into the background of the apparently inexplicable disappearance of Malaysia Airlines' flight MH370.
After the Introduction, the reader is carefully and methodically taken on a journey of the subsequent events that occurred to explain his theories. He examines the possible theories that have been proposed by others and explains why these ideas are not feasible. In the concluding chapters , the author provides the reader with his conclusions and hypothetical solutions to the mystery of the missing aircraft.
It is a fascinating book that provides us with detailed information about the flight controls and systems that are used to keep track of the aircraft flights. Perhaps at times some of the information is too detailed for the average person to understand but I felt it was necessary to fully explain his theories and to separate the factual information from the fiction.
A well written book that seems to me to provide answers to the questions we are all wondering about: "Whatever happened to Flight MH370"? Perhaps, sometime in the near future we will know the answers to this question and be able to judge the validity of the author's concusions. ( )

I received this book from Library Thing to read and review. There have been so many conspiracy theories and I am glad that this book did not provide yet another "out there" theory. The author appears to have the relevant background and training to be able to piece together a more plausible scenario using logic and his own experience. He does briefly delve into the more outlandish theories but explains why they are not reasonable. He is able to put together a possible explanation with what little evidence there is and also is honest in admitting that as more is known about this mystery, the book may be updated. I found the book technical but not too technical and I appreciate how he has tried to explain aircraft procedures and technology in a way that lay people can understand. I would recommend this book if you are interested in the mystery of MH 370. ( )
