I was skimming by the end. I only finished because I'm too cheap to DNF a book I paid for. I know it's fiction but the flow of their relationship didn't make sense. Issues that weren't really that important were blown way out of proportion. I enjoy erotica but this was mostly sex. ( )

I loved this story.
It does end on a cliffhanger.
I think there is 3 books to this one, then 3 more with different mc's.
I've read them all.

Super hot steamy adult scenes in ALL of them
Great flow.
Even has suspense in it!

The bones of the story was really good but there was just so much sex in it.
I get that the Hero has some issues with sex, he's a playboy and he has had dark times in his past and that led to experimentation on his part and the heroine has issues due to her ex but it was pages and pages.
Their friend even comment on how much, making comment like them being at it like bunnies.
I just felt the issues could have been dealt with without so much of it and it could have even been a duet rather than a trilogy.
I liked the story set up.
I did wish the heroine put up more of a fight, it was a bit mills and boon, 'he touched her and she couldn't resist'.
She was strong in other areas.
In the series, there is ex drama, both sides.
No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine although he does explain at one point his darker side, which involved sex with a sub, but she asks, the woman is not named.
Lots of family drama.
Story extends over 3 books. ( )

Can hardly write a review, my eyes might be permanently stuck from all the eye rolling I did reading this book.
I will not bother to read the next in the series. ( )
