After escaping the Kresh aliens in the first book, Cyrus Gant, the main character, joined a primitive tribe of humans bioengineered with great strength and a lung capacity that helps them survive in the low oxygen atmosphere of a gas giant moon planet. The tribe's shaman, who has a great deal of historic and outward knowledge that had been mentally passed down from her predecessors, transfers that knowledge to the tribe's warriors so they have the information they need to free the "Anointed One" from the Kresh. The anointed one is a human prophesized to free humans from their subservience to the Kresh overlords. Together, Cyrus and the warriors free the anointed one from a Kresh experimental lab and hide out in the cloud coverage of the gas giant. They are hiding there until one of two potential foretold wars between the enslaving aliens and their prime enemies occurs. They hope that the war gives them cover to go to Earth and warn humanity about Kresh's intent to invade humanity’s home world and subjugate them. ( ) Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

Now Cyrus pursues a desperate hope bound up in a single boy, a prophesized psionic named Klane--already in the clutches of the Kresh. Soon Cyrus finds himself torn between tracking down this so-called savior and escaping back into space before it's too late. Yet as he gathers allies and firepower, he's desperate to find a way back to Earth and warn them of this alien menace...only to discover an even greater danger to the future existence of the human race. The electric interstellar action that began in Alien Honor continues in Alien Shores.
