Like any other Scooby Doo story, this chapter book is following Scooby and the gang through a mystery adventure. The gang is on a cruise, that crosses right through the Bermuda Triangle. During a costume contest that is held on the cruise ship, the ghost appears and makes all of the passengers go into panic. The gang sets out to find out who this ghost is. The central message of this book is to always work together and be brave at all times because some things may not be as scary as you think they are.
Side Note: This chapter book is a little different, unique, from other chapter books by having instructions at the bottom of some pages that you need to follow according to who you want to follow after Scooby and the gang split up.
