I picked up this impulse book at a used book store and it became one of my foundation cookbooks when I was vegetarian. With lush color pictures, clear instructions and all ingredients presented in a clear consise manner in the sidebar, the recipes flow easily from the page to your oven. Sometimes there were a few quirks such as the metric conversion or the word aubergine (eggplant), but overall, I found this book timeless and wonderful with a flavorful mix of ingredients. I have purchased this book for a vegetarian in-law, and they became a convert to Sarah Brown's cookbook too.
