I purchased My Very First Golden Bible to commemorate my oldestson's first Easter. That was six years ago. He is in the first gradenow and is getting to be quite an enthusiastic reader. We have ourstory and prayer time every evening at bedtime and he will frequently ask to read one of the stories from My Very First Golden Bible to his brother and me. He has been asking some very good questions, such as "how did Adam and Eve get to be best friends?" You can imagine his surprise when I told him how God took one of Adam's ribs and covered it with flesh to create Eve! He also sets out My Very First Golden Bible to take to Sunday School and church every week. He will often read a story or two during the service. Personally, I think the pictures are very tasteful and depict the Biblical periods of the Old and New Testaments very well. I like the fact that it includes stories from both the Old and New Testaments, too. The stories are just the right length for young minds to absorb and are easy enough for young readers to gain a sense of self-confidence and achievement. I like what this addition to our son's growing library and reading skills has accomplished so much that now I plan to purchase a second copy for my youngest son, almost five years old. He is very excited about owning a copy of My Very First Golden Bible for himself! Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
