When he tries to imitate a rooster, the newly-hatched chick falls in a puddle." -- Scholastic, Inc. "An ingenious barnyard story, brief but well-paced, simple but colorful." --Booklist. "The bright pictures and the wealth of animal sounds and actions make it a natural for the very youngest." --School Library Journal. I did not like this book that much. The storyline for the story was dry. It was very short and did not have much action in it. The book just showed how the baby chick was learning things from its mom. Even though the story was dry, it gave a good message at the end. You learn a lot from your parents and you need to use them to help you learn about the world. The beginning days of when a chick hatches and being taught by his mother. This is a wonderful informational story of a chicken and the animals around the farm. The author uses a system of explaining the chiken and showing the reader using pictures, making the illustrations crucial to this book. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
