Dirty Ties was an addicting, erotic novel that had me begging for another book! Pam Godwin did an amazing job and I hope she has many more books similar to this that I can pick up!

The novel follows Kaci, who is married to her gay husband and has to find ways to enjoy their relationship through non traditional means. When her husband finds a male lover that he spends more time with than with her, she feels the need to find herself a lover. And when she finds Logan, she's in for a big surprise.

At first I wasn't sure what to expect out of the novel, and I wasn't let down. The twists and turns presented in this novel aren't exactly what I'd expect from an erotic novel, but it adds to the suspense. The novel is definitely a mix between mystery, suspense, romance, erotica and action.

There are almost no faults to this novel other than I want many sequels and many spinoffs! I loved this novel and I couldn't put it down. It's an original plot line with original plot twists that make an excellent read!

Five out of five stars! Loved it!

I read this book solely because the cover looked interesting to me. I had no idea what to expect. I am so glad that I took the chance. I was entranced the entire time.

Kaci and her best friend Collin were raised by wolves of the business sort. The seniors care about nothing except power. Kaci and Collin have somehow gotten themselves entrapped by a contract with the parents/bosses from hell. These overlords try to control every facet of their offspring's lives. Kaci and Collin have been forced to marry, keep the knowledge of Collin being gay a secret and support and participate in politics and business with which they disagree. The alternatives are spots in prison or a cemetery. Kaci and Collin find small reprieves in this forced lifestyle, like sharing bi male escorts who pass background checks and sign nondisclosure agreements.

"I married my best friend. No regrets."
"You married a gay man who supports an anti-gay political party on national TV."
"And you married a breeder who leaves cum trails on your lovers' cocks."

These two try to make the best of the situation, but it's a lonely life. Neither can have a full relationship with each other or anyone else. The scene and idea of them sharing a man is very hot on first glance, but it's also sad. Both want the real deal, a shot at romance.

Kaci is obsessed with a certain illegal street motorcycle racing mystery man. Fantasies with this man are one of the indulgences she allows herself.

I didn't know what I was hoping for exactly. To see his face? Fat chance. To hear his voice again? Yes, please. To fuck with our helmets on? Awkward, but I'd take it.

Little does she know, mister unknown has got his sites set on her and her family also. His thoughts are well laid plans that only someone who has been drug through hell could produce.

This story has several awesome characters. The details, such as street racing, and just all the little extras, are über interesting. Often when you read as much as I do, scenes and descriptions start to run together. This book is full of features that I have not read before. Most of the terms and phrases repeated in a lot of my reads were not used. The unique bar, band and dancing made me smile and wish I was there. The play by play on motorcycles going outrageous speeds got me excited. The male lead has a touch of a batman/arrow feel to him, leaning more toward the dark knight version. The storyline is super sexy and fast paced. I can totally see it being a movie. Dirty Ties is definitely a must read in my opinion.

Multifaceted best describes this book as you have some naughty type sex, and underground racing circuit, a multimillion dollar company that is owned by evil rich people that will go to any lengths to stay that way.

At the core you have man who is out for revenge. Its been years in the making and the way he has funded this has been illegal motorcycle racing. No one knows his real identity he is known only as The Evader.

Kaci is the VP of the company he plans to destroy. She and her childhood friend Collin were forced to marry by their parents who are the evil rich people I mentioned before. It’s a shame of marriage to cover for something. (don’t know if it would be a spoiler to say but I wont) Kaci wants nothing more than to beat the people that she and Collin call parents. She also wants someone to love. She has become obsessed with The Evader and watching his races. These two end up on a unknowing collision course.

This story has so many twists and turns right up till the end with a pretty shocking conclusion. After all the lying and manipulations throughout I was a very satisfied reader.
