It is about a little boy who finds a whale in his swimming pool on a hot summer day. Eventually, he makes the best of the situation and uses the whale to his advantage. The book has bright pictures and simple sentences. I think it would be more appropriate for lower elementary age children. The last thing you want to find in your swimming pool on the hottest day of the summer is a massive whale not willing to share it with you! Funny and sweet, this book is the type you'll need to read to your little ones several times in a row. We had fun thinking in many ways to make the whale move out of the pool! A warm read for this cold weather... Age range: 2 to 6 years old Check out more children's book reviews in my Reviews in Chalk Blog! Genre: Picture Book This story is about a little boy who finds a whale in his swimming pool. The pool is not big enough for both of them so he tries everything to get the whale out, so that he can go in. The whale does not move so the boy climbs up on the whale and uses the whales spout and his own water source. This book does not have a lot of educational use except maybe promoting imagination. It would be a book that I would read during story time to a young classroom. The story line is very easy to follow and the illustrations are also fun. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
