This is classic K A....like all the others in my favorites. I loved it and got angry when life interfered with my reading it! It will be re-read many times like all my favorites. Good job on this one!! ( )

Loved it.
By now you have got to be tired of reading my praises of Kristen Ashley's work. So I am going to make this one short and to the point.
I absolutely, positively, with out a doubt, Loved it! ( )

A real solid read. I enjoy this series. I like that the motorcycle club in this one is not one percenters. They are basically good guys who work to keep their territory clean from drugs and prostitution. I have trouble in some MC romances really caring for a murdering hero. I guess that's why I'm really only willing to shell out the money for this series and Joanna Wylde's MC series.

This one was mostly relationship driven. There was only a small bit of drama that was about MC business. Most of the conflict came from the way the heroine's ex-husband treated her. I thought that her life hadn't been so awful up until the last 18 months. And the only reason I mention that is that the back cover and the foreshadowing at the end of the prologue really led me to believe that she was going to have a truly awful 8 years until they meet again. And further more the way the husband changed at the end was way out of left field.

Still a fulfilling fun read. Can't wait for the next one. ( )

I enjoyed this book! This is the first time that I have read any of Kristen Ashley’s work but it will not be my last. I really cannot believe that I waited so long to read her work. This book is a part of the Chaos series but I read it as a stand-alone and thought that it worked well on its own. I was hooked by this story almost immediately and quickly fell in love with the characters. I am so glad that I finally got around to reading this book!

Joker and Carissa were wonderful together. I liked seeing them as teenagers at the start of the book and seeing how much their lives had changed when they meet again years later. Joker and Carissa don’t seem to have a lot in common on the surface. Joker works with cars and is part of the Chaos Motorcycle Club. Carissa is recently divorced with a baby and trying to get by on her job at the local grocery store with next to no help from her ex-husband. But Carissa and Joker just work. She fits in with his friends right away and he does whatever he can to help her and is not intimidated by her ex. The chemistry between them was fantastic and I loved how they became a unit so quickly.

I thought that Kate Russell did a great job with the narration. I believe that this is the first time that I have listened to her narration but I enjoyed her reading from the start. I thought that she helped to bring these characters to life and added a lot of emotion into the reading. She had a very pleasant voice that was easy to listen to for hours at a time. I do believe that her narration added a lot to the story and look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.

I would not hesitate to recommend this book to others. This was a wonderful romance filled with wonderful characters who actually communicate with each other. My only complaint would be that the book was probably a bit longer than it needed to be but overall it was a great read. I look forward to reading more of this author’s work in the future.
