It was a Monday when Zeke, a zebra-tailed fence lizard, first set eyes on Tuesday. No! Not the "third day of the week", but Tuesday, a very long, greenish-gray, flat-snouted alligator with a charming, toothy grin and a glint in her eye. It was love at first sight! But that's the end of the story. Let's start at the beginning ... Follow the true adventures of Tuesday, who begins life as the pampered pet of a human in California. She lounges on the sofa with her human, eats treats and enjoys car rides until she gets too big, that is. She grows and grows and grows until she becomes too much for her human to handle. A poacher, posing as a caring gator guy, crams Tuesday in a truck full of other scaly creatures, promising to take good care of her. Though Florida bound, it's not Disney World her new owner has in mind for her! Luckily, the police pull over the truck on Arizona's stretch of I-10 and change Tuesday's fate forever. Tuesday ends up at an animal sanctuary called the Phoenix Herpetological Society, where she meets up with Zeke, her secret admirer. Is she still pampered? Probably so.… (més)
