The things I like most about the books are the romance aspect, but more importantly, the fact that each of the siblings has a different issue about God to deal with and I find that Dee Henderson makes the issues real - I can definately relate to a number of the themes and have enjoyed all the books. The ability to make people aware of aspects which might be affecting their relationship with God as well as the solution and the reasoning for making the choice I feel is a necessary one which makes us, the reader, think. ( ![]() Picked a book off the shelf. Turns out it is a romance or chick Lit. Interesting that it is also a christian book. Don't love it, but will probably finish it. Will not finish it. After reading Kate's story in the Negotiator and seeing the dynamic she had with chosen brothers and sisters, I enjoyed finding out more about Marcus in this book as well as getting to know Lisa better and Marcus' partner Quinn. Enjoyed both the suspense and romance of the book. *happy sigh* That one was the best yet! Highly recommended! Recommended for age 16 for romance and violence. This was a great listen, fun story -- pure brain candy (and thought provoking) for Christians wanting to read good fiction. I think I liked this book even better than the first in this series (although I liked it, too). The theme of the Guardian really resonated with me at this time in my life: life happens and people lose faith - or - they choose to be Christians and pray through the tough times. Mark O'Malley, the Guardian, is a charming and tough guy, but he is an unbeliever because he lost his mother as a child, despite his prayers for healing. His lady interest is a strong Christian whose world is thrown upside down. Read it to see what happens . . . Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
