Another great Jonathan Kellerman book, this time involving the character of Petra. He has a way of grasping and holding my interest, and even though there is a whiz-kid character, this character is well-fleshed out and complete. Petra's compassion for him and his world is quite touching.

Oh yeah, and there's not too much police agency politicking (there is some, but it's not overdone) and a great deal of plot that makes you wonder until the very end who or what is the connection?

A quick, involved read (as in, did not put down often) that keeps one guessing and provides a heart for the characters. ( )
