The expressive writing is very vivid, easy to read and digest, making it a very pleasurable read. Anyone who has read the Agatha Raisin series by MC Beaton will love this book and the characters in it. The perfect read to take on holiday or on a long journey, although even if you were to put the book down you would easily be able to follow the storyline again. This is one of 4 stories written by this author and I will be looking out for them to add to my reading list. (  ) beckvalleybooks | Jul 10, 2015 | It's a great summer read, as it is fun and easy to read. The vivid descriptions of the resort and the surrounding area make you feel like you're actually there. The author uses her travel writing background to the fullest. The mystery part of the story is also very well-written, with plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing at the solution. The characters are extremely well-written as well, and Paige is a lot of fun, seeing how her curiosity always gets her into trouble in one way or another. I also enjoyed the fact this book doesn't have any detailed intimate encounters, violence, or questionable language.
