This series balances slice-of-life, low-drama comedy with sweet, realistic moments of emotional weight. And the art style....The paneling is clean, the character style is simple and cute and grows with the story. Might be boring to some, but it's one of my favorites. As a Shoujo, romance manga, it was very much out of my comfort zone. While I couldn't relate to the material as much as I'd like, I'm proud of being able to sit through it. With that being said, I got a headache after I finished reading lol. It was so exhausting to hear about high school antics outside of the relationship. - Everyone has two identities: their public and private life. A relationship builds as two people feel more and more comfortable sharing their private lives with each other. As this comfort grows, the relationship may blossom into a deep friendship or even love. - Having people you know professionally see your personal life, without permission, is both embarrassing and upsetting. "A sweet 'aww'-inspiring tale of school life begins!! At school, Kyouko Hori is known for being smart, attractive, and popular. On the other hand, her classmate, the boring, gloomy Izumi Miyamura, tends to get painted as a 'loser fanboy.' But when a liberally pierced and tattooed (not to mention downright gorgeous) Miyamura appears unexpectedly on the doorstep of secretly plain-Jane homebody Hori, these two similarly dissimilar teenagers discover that there are multiple sides to every story ... and person!"--Page 4 of cover.
