This is a very good series and has me now looking for the next in the series. A fun story mixing human and dragons that can change into human form in a society. This follows primarily 3 main characters, Tressa, Connor and Bastian who have been living in a village that is surrounded by a fog that keeps them trapped. Nobody has ever returned from the fog, until these 3 friends decide to go in to try to save their village. They have no idea what lies beyond, until they are caught up in a world they have never known and the politics and power structures between humans and dragons. They go through very trying times together and apart as they meet new friends and love interests. It is a very fun story to read and will keep you interested in what happens next all the way through. I got the Dragonland volumes from BookBub, it was on a deal and I was going on a road trip and I needed something light and entertaining. I was hooked from the first few pages, and I finished the entire volume in a week. Since I read this collection about two years ago, my review is going to be general.
I remember that it was a very fun. You will quickly get attached to some characters and have a love hate feeling for others.
The plot was interesting most of the time, but I felt some of the events were crazy, even for a fantasy book.
Would I recommend it? Sure, if you are a fantasy fan and don't mind some silliness you'll enjoy it too. But if you're going to pick on every single detail you'll probably read the first two books and stop. ( )
