"As the sole unmarried Carmen sister, Brecee is losing patience as she waits for Prince Charming, yet she exercises caution when an unexpected romance develops"--
On the surface, Brecee Carmen has nothing in common with Adrian Cole. She is a pediatrician certified in trauma care; he is a transportation problem-solver for a luxury car dealership (a.k.a., a car salesman). Despite their slow but steady attraction to each other, neither one of them is sure that they're compatible. To complicate matters, Brecee is the sole unattached Carmen daughter when it seems as though everyone else around her--family and friends--is finding love. Through a series of discoveries, Adrian and Brecee learn that things don't always happen by coincidence. Generational forces are at work, keeping promises, protecting family members, and perhaps even drawing Adrian back to the church he had strayed from. Is it possible that God has been playing matchmaker all along?--Back cover. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |

I loved how Adrian is described as a transportation problem-solver. It made me chuckle at his fancy term for car salesman. He is very much taken with Brecee but he will soon find that she has a test he will gave to pass in order to date her. I loved the ten statements they each write down on what they expected from someone they became serious with. Bravo for Brecee having God first in her life. Her mate must love God and put Him first above everything. Will Adrian be able to meet her requirements?
The book is filled with scriptures that I thought really showed how much Brecee depends on God and never wavered from her faith. It reminded me to be more diligent about seeking God for answers and taking time to read scriptures that will help me everyday. The story is very well written with strong characters and shows how important it is to be equally yoked with the person you want to spend your life with. This is a great book that I would recommend to anyone looking for a clean romance that is faith filled and has strong family values.
