This book is about a fairy named Faybelle Thorn, daughter of the dark fairy Malificent. When Justine Dancer is looking for someone to play the role of the dark fairy in a play, Faybelle knows that she was born to play the part. She competes against a fairy named Farrah Goodfairy. Faybelle gets too competitive and makes a spell that fails. It's up to her to undo the spell and do the right thing. I liked this book because it shows even bad villains can still have good in them. Also, I liked this book because I could easily picture all of the scenes going on in the story with the author's great detail. This book is a great example of how you should chose to do the right thing. ( )
