I had put off reading this book for a long time and only recently picked up the audiobook to listen to on a long distance trip by car. Thank goodness I was driving on a familiar path, because I became so caught up in what was being read to me that I would have missed an exit or two if I had been relying on any form of navigation. I loved every minute of what I read, good and bad in a nice balance to tell the story of a boy growing up to learn that social class isn't always what it seems. I don't really feel like I need to write a whole lot here, so I will finish by saying that I have every intention of picking up a copy of the physical book some time so that I can read the story in its entirety.
