Egyptian lore and history are presented in eleven short stories included in this collection. Most of the selections feature the more prominent pharaohs, in particular Tutankamon and Ramses I. The historical events occurring throughout their rules and the significant decisions they made are recounted. Other stories describe simple, everyday people and their day to day lives within Egyptian societies. Every story portrays the mystic and mystery of the culture and the various legends that have survived to this day.
