(Classmate genre share) 4 Jack Prelutsky, along with 28 other poets, are included in "Read A Rhyme, Write a Rhyme." Each two pages has a specific topic with different poems written by favorite authors. Some of the topic include birthdays, cows, bugs and friends. What makes this book especially fun for kids is there is a poemstart on each page. Children are encouraged to think of rhyming words and to fill in the sentence starter and create their own poem. The illustrations for each topic of poetry are fun and kid friendly which will help as they start creating their own poetry. This is a children's picture book full of different poems. On every page, the writer leaves a note that has part of a poem written on it. With this note, Prelutsky encourages the reader to finish the poem, and even gives hints on how it could be written. This is a great book that could be used for a teacher wanting to teach a unit on poetry. I highly recommend it. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
