I deducted half a star because I have lost my copy of Miracles from this six-pack. You might say that's not Lewis' fault and that he, therefore, should not be penalized. If this were a fair world, I might agree with you. However, I can only go on the basis of performance, good intentions are not enough. Selling books in one combo-pack is a very risky proposition, and I believe one has to be accountable and take responsibility for creating such risks. Since I was only the purchaser and not the person who decided to package these books in this manner, I do not believe it is appropriate for me to have to take sole responsibility for a sad outcome. Also, why couldn't I have lost The Abolition of Man, if I had to lose any of them? ( )
