I wish this would've been a whole book instead of a short story. But at least it wasn't quite the insta-romance. Love it, when it takes awhile for the couple to get to know each other. But good for a short story. ( )

Bridget and Sam deserve a longer story

This was a great little Nocturne Falls story but it left me wanting more. Since the first book in the series, I wanted to get to know more about Bridget and was so hoping she would get a whole book. Bridget and Sam’s story here is quick and light but still Kristen Painter manages to fit in plenty of romance. Also for such a short story there is no denying the chemistry between these two. Bless B.J. Harrison for the ever great consistent voice of the series. ( )

Bridget owns the bar in Nocturne Falls, is a werewolf, and her brothers are the police and fire chiefs. Sam is a firefighter and one of the sons of a disgraced werewolf alpha. The attraction has been there since he moved to town, but it takes a night of being inadvertently locked inside a walk-in freezer for them to explore the possibility. Excellent short read!
B.J.Harrison is the narrator with the suggestive voice who is a master of the characters of Nocturne Falls. ( )
