Tornadoes begin when warm, wet air meet cooler air. When they meet it creates a thunderstorm causing a funnel to fall from the sky from the clouds. A tornado can move very fast and destroys anything that gets in its way. In order to be safe and stay away from it, it is important to stay updated with the weather, look for public warnings, cover your head and hide in a hallway or bathroom. This book gave great visuals of how effective a tornado can be and what is the best way to keep safe. The words were to the point and easy to understand.
